Pair deposit-funded consumer banks with card networks that earn fees from everyday spending, rather than taking direct exposure to AI infrastructure financing. Bank share-price weakness contrasts with stronger payment-network performance, offering complementary exposures within household finance. Credit losses and a slowdown in consumer spending remain the central risks; lower bank valuations alone do not establish a recovery.
